Going Green Initiative!

WAW has gone green!. Our Green Initiative is an opportunity to make our programs more environmentally friendly and a chance to engage the community on climate change.

This initiative fits our mission perfectly. The founder of the modern environmental movement was a woman, Rachel Carson, and environmental engineering is an important part of modern engineering, as seen in our popular “Envision Engineering” exhibit.

As part of our effort to be more eco-friendly, we’re trying to reduce paper mailings and focusing on e-mail alerts. If you’d like to be added to our e-mail list, let us know by phone or e-mail.

"Your goal should be out of reachbut not out of sight."
